Located in the west end of Glasgow, the Westbourne Gardens terraces were created during the 1870s on part of the South Balgray farmlands sold off by the Fleming family around that time for development.

The Struthers Memorial Church, originally the Westbourne Free Church (c.1882), was designed by John Honeyman, a partner of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and contains large stained glass windows by Alfred Webster and Douglas Strachan.

The central Gardens are owned in common by all proprietors and managed through the Westbourne Gardens Association.
